Now that we have made it through the first week of 2020, how are we doing on those resolutions? Leading up to the New Year we all see the post and the motivational quotes. I love the feeling that a New Year brings, but I dislike the obsession with reinventing ourselves. The Infamous “New Year, New Me” posts. Why do we believe that there is a need to become a new person? Instead of changing yourself this year use each day to become a better version of you! That is my resolution for 2020 striving to be a better me each day. One Week Down and I think I am doing a pretty good job so far.
I started this year the same way I always do. With my planner, journal, and motivational book. I spend a few days and truly reflect on the previous year and what I would like to accomplish the upcoming year.

This year my goals came to me very easily because the majority are adding to things already achieved in 2019. Once I wrote them down I decided to create a page of my goals and add to my planner.

For the extra push at the start off the year I always start by reading some Motivational Books. There is more than one reason for this, first reason is I check off books and am one step closer to my reading goal and it fills me with ammunition to kick butt all year long.

If you spent this week planning and writing down all the things you are going to change about yourself this year, I want you to throw that list away. Instead write all the ways you plan to improve, do all the things that make you feel great and kill it this year!
